Our New Library Opens at Nwe’Kwe Village

New library at Nwe’ Kwe By David Leuthold 12/24/12 Another brick library, constructed under Nargis Library Recovery auspices, was dedicated on December 10 at the Myinta Nanda Monastic School in Nwe’ Kwe village, about an hour’s drive northeast of Yangon on the Baho highway. A $8800 donation from the United Nations Women’s Guild of Vienna, Austria, was inspired by Daw Ah Win who administers the International Atomic Energy Agency library. The U.N. Our New Library in Nwe’ Kwe Village

May and I just came back from Nwe’ Kwe after donating Kyat 7,740,000. UNWA donation of US$ 8800 x 880 rate) to Myinta Nanda Monastic School.   Attached is the donation receipt from the Sayadaw with photos of the construction. Once we informed the Sayadaw about UNWA grant, he started constructing the library.  It is quite spacious.
